October 2025 marks my 3rd Halloween collection that I took from concept to completion at bkr. I presented my ideas to the team, and we worked through the specifics, seeking the best bottle colors to print on. I prepared the final files for the screen printing of the bottles, as well as the print files for the sticker sheet. I photographed and retouched the hero image. I then took the illustrations from the sticker sheet and incorporated it into the main campaign imagery, and resized for each asset.

Bkr (pronounced beaker)  is a cult favorite glass water bottle company specializing in the sensory experience and trending colors of fashion. One thing that sets them apart, is that glass is so much tastier to drink from than metal or plastic bottles.

my role

Upon joining the company in 2022, my passion for the brand was already a huge plus, as I was able to help make successful high stake business decisions in product development. I quickly learned how to create animations or gifs used in email and social media assets. I took every new project as an opportunity to push myself to merge design and animation. About one quarter in, we realized there was a huge necessity for the creation and proper execution of video assets. In response, I taught myself Adobe Premiere on the job. It has been three years since I began processing video assets and there has been a huge improvement in our advertising. I have designed and rolled out web landing pages integrated in the company's e-commerce website for special launches or big campaigns. I now am responsible for shooting new photography in studio or on location, as well as retouching. I also design all the sticker sheets, doing all the illustrations by hand with iPad and Apple Pencil. Stickers are a fun addition to our seasonal launches.
